Darren Bender-Beauregard and his wife Espri run Brambleberry Farm, a plant nursery located in southern Indiana that focuses on disease-resistant and regionally appropriate species and cultivars of fruit, nut and berry plants. He has found himself smack in the heart of American persimmon country and has been avidly collecting, propagating and learning about the many new and old cultivars from a handful of accomplished breeders of this incredible fruit. A side quest of his is a search for the perfect bezoar.
